Happiness

The EQ-i 2.0 has been modified to view happiness as a product of emotional intelligence rather than a contributing factor to emotional intelligence. It explores the relationship between one’s level of Happiness and Self-Regard, Self-Actualization, Interpersonal Relationships, and Optimism. Each report will consist of a Happiness score which is generated in the same manner as all other EQ-i 2.0 subscales, but it does not affect the total EI score.

 

Emotional Intelligence competencies can be learned by anyone. Taking the 13-15 minute 133 question EQ-i 2.0 Assessment Online will reveal your current baseline of  these competencies, both your strengths and weaknesses.

The assessment comes with a detailed report explained in a debrief session with Richard Taylor of Business Anger Management. You will be guided to establish goals to improve all 15 competencies

If you think about it, there is a difference between knowing these competencies of emotional intelligence and actually applying this knowledge to your life. An example is, you know you should eat healthy and exercise but do you each day, each week? You might also realized that under daily living of hectic schedules, pressure, demand for your attention and time, stress, old habits, our reactive nature often deters and misdirects our best intentions.

Mastering these skills over 66 days or longer leads to permanently changing our behaviors that stand up under these influences as it creates new neural pathways in the brain that communicate from the front neo cortex (Rational Brain) to our limbic area of the brain Amygdala (Emotional Brain-in green below). You have to experience and practice the skills in your everyday life.

Results will dictate whether further enhancement is warranted. Individual Coaching Sessions are best for specific work addressed to those areas of weakness and strengths under a plan we co-create..

After this coaching and the individual application and practice of these principles it is strongly suggested a POST Bar-On MHS EQ-i 2.0 Assessment is taken to produce a new report usually showing much improvement if those areas worked on.
